Community-based orchestra consisting of professional and highly skilled amateur players from the Hamilton and Burlington areas.

Symphony on the Bay

Symphony on the Bay has grown and flourished musically for the past 19 years under the direction of James R. McKay. Maestro McKay concludes his tenure with the orchestra by conducting the final concert of the 2014-15 season. The orchestra will always be grateful to Jim for making it one of the finest groups of its kind in the region. Guest conductors will guide the orchestra in the interim, as we commence the search for a new music director. With a challenging program and the excitement of the new Burlington Performing Arts Centre, the Board, members, and patrons of Symphony on the Bay look forward to another wonderful year of music making as we celebrate our 42nd season!
